That's a fair point, and I agree that improvements in the figures would be great if the resources would allow.  In the meantime, I would like to point out that there are figures with better quality than in the HTML in the Word document found here: http://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/products/analysis_monitoring/enso_advisory/index.shtml
