in looking at the current status from noaa it appears to me that the Washington Oregon coast waters are in a week negative Pacific decadal oscillation phase and we are also in a weak la Nina for the second year in a row although the weather until recently isn't acting like it however all this is apparently going to change in the latter half of February and beginning of March where the Pacific Northwest might be in for our first taste of winter. this may come as quite a shock to some Western Washington residents who haven't seen much snow this winter. by the way what's all this talk about the earth heading into a little ice age? I do know we are about one year away from solar minimum with an unusually quiet sun. goodbye global warmin
