I am a native Arizonan and it seems that the "monsoon" season in Arizona is occuring later than usual this year. We had "nothing" in June and July but August has been very active with afternoon and evening (and even some morning) thunderstorms with much wind. Is the late arrival of the "monsoon" any indication of a possible El Nino winter in Arizona?
