The NOAA CAP/RISA team California Nevada Climate Applications Program (CNAP) published an article on how to use climate data for Nevada with Nevada’s State Climatologist, Steph McAfee, part of University Nevada Reno Extension. While the information in the publication is relevant for any location, all the examples are from Nevada. After publishing the first Nevada climate assessment in December 2020, there were indicators that additional guidance was needed on how to use climate data to assess vulnerabilities and in planning.
