NOAA’s Sectoral Applications Research Program (SARP) collaborated with potato growers and the University of Nebraska’s Drought Mitigation Center to produce decision calendars for Midwestern specialty crop growers. Houlihan pulled together a focus group to address drought risks affecting Midwestern potatoes, vegetables, apples, and cranberries.
